What Problems Does the 2017 Volvo XC60 Have?
Recalls for the 2017 XC60 have included issues related to the fuel supply, potentially causing engine stalling, and problems with the seat belt pretensioners. It's important to check the vehicle's VIN with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to ensure all applicable recalls have been addressed.
Long-term reliability concerns revolve around the complexity of the turbocharged and supercharged engines and the electronic systems. Regular maintenance and adherence to the recommended service schedule are crucial to mitigate these risks. Specifically, monitor the engine oil level regularly and address any warning lights promptly to prevent potential major repairs. Some earlier models of this generation had reported issues with the sunroof drains clogging, leading to water leaks in the cabin; this is something to inspect on used models.

How Does the 2017 Volvo XC60 Compare to Other Wagon?
In terms of features, the XC60 offers a distinctive Scandinavian design and a strong emphasis on safety. The infotainment system can be a drawback compared to the more user-friendly systems in the Audi and BMW. Reliability is a potential concern for the Volvo, with the Lexus NX being a standout in this area.
Price-wise, the XC60 is typically competitive. Alternatives to consider include the Acura RDX for value, the BMW X3 for performance, and the Lexus NX for reliability. The Audi Q5 presents the most similar combination of luxury, practicality, and performance as the Volvo XC60.

Final Verdict: Is the 2017 Volvo XC60 a Good Wagon?

Volvos are excellent cars to drive. This is my third Volvo and my favorite model of the three. It is the perfect car for me. It is a very comfortable car to drive. I love the design of the car. It has a lot of storage in the back. It has an easy system to pop down the seats for bigger loads. My XC 60 is a super nice looking car on the exterior too. It is a great car for around town and has also been perfect for longer road trips.

Beautiful car. My dream carIt's beautiful, comfortable, luxurious. It drives so smoothly and is quiet. It's a 6 cylinder so it has some zip. The perfect car for me!

Smooth ride; plenty of safety features. This review is about the performance of the car. It's a smooth ride, and I enjoy everything about the car except for it's outdated infotainment system. It's a 2017 Volvo with a 7" screen without touchscreen capabilities. You could buy a Ford focus and have a more updated infotainment system. That is the only drawback about this car. Other than that, I'd recommend it.

It's what one expects from VolvoIt's not a bargain - but it is extremely comfortable - and it's comforting to think think that if we ever needed it, our chances of remaining safe are optimized by Volvo engineers. This model was just before the redesign, so I miss some of the new features, but not enough to even think of a trade in for many, many years.
Magoo2020 on July 1, 2020
Nice CarI basically love it - except the USB port is not in an easily reached place. It's inside the small center console. That's sort an an important thing for phones. I love the back up camera and the. vehicle runs well.

Love this carThis car offers an amazing ride and easy handling. Both my husband and I have back issues, but they go unnoticed when riding in our Volvo. Comfort and handling are our most important concerns and this car is perfect.
