I have owned this car for almost 4 years and I have driven the car for almost 5 years now. I really like the car altogether, the interior is very easy to use and easy to master. I have noticed that the more mileage I put on the car the more expensive my repair costs are going to get. It currently has almost 140,000 miles and I have had a lot of problems with the transmission and the alternator. I am purchasing a 2015 Nissan Murano to replace my Santa Fe.

The 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe is a endless money pitt! I am warning you all right now that this a terrible SUV! I bought this car in 2015! The car was bought with 86,000 miles and for a very cheap price of 9,000$ This car was my last choice. Before I had a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander ES and I had to replace the whole transmission at 30,000 miles! The cheapest SUV on the lot was this Santa Fe so I just went with it and bought it! During the time I owned this car It had a total of 6 recalls and 2 service bulletins and it has had many mechanical issues! The fuel gauge sensor broke which is a 600$ repair. I never fixed because it was a waste of my money so I just started to ignore the fact that is was broken and just used my odometer to track my fuel count. Then the sealing of my rear passenger doors and trunk wouldnt seal so in the middle of me driving over a bump or any divit in the road the dome lights would turn on and say that my doors are opened. I have had countless transmission issues as well as underbody issues! In 2016 I bought a used 2015 Nissan Murano S and my wife has a 2017 Nissan Murano Platinum and we love both of our cars. long story short this Santa Fe sucks and that you should buy a Nissan!

Love my Santa Fe

This is my 2nd Santa Fe. I put over 100,000 miles on both of them. I would get another one but I'm short and they changed the style of it so now I can't see over the hood. Great cars!!

Nice SUV for the money

I have driven this vehicle for 6 years and loved it. My only complaints are horrible gas mileage, not enough power on highway - mine is a 6 cyl automatic front wheel drive, and my previous 4 cyl standard sante fe had much more pick up than this one. Its been reliable, and nice to drive otherwise.

You'll never get a better value than a Hyundai Santa Fe suv. Easy to drive, comfortable, and extremely reliable. If you want a lot of extras at an affordable price I would buy a Santa Fe!

Have had so many transmission issues with this xxx, worst car I've ever owned. Trash piece of crap! Do NOT buy one. Has been in the shop 80+ days in less than a year!!

Hyundai Santa Fe - excellent winter SUV with AWD

Low mileage, excellent condition. It runs and drives beautifully. It drives straight down the road, no shaking, noises, etc. This car is in beautiful shape and looks great! This car is priced reasonably. It is priced well below dealer pricing.
