had the car less than 24 hours it is making a rubbing noise that it did not make during the test drive. Asked the dealership where I bought to have someone take a look at it, they said I would have to come back another day.

Subaru offers a 100,000 warranty on these cars, knowing the transmission will go out around then. Ours went bad at 108,000 and they offered us nothing. Now stuck with a broke down car and needs a $9000 new transmission. Shame on you Subaru for even releasing these cars!! Wife & I we’re both avid Subaru drivers and supporters... after this experience, will NEVER buy or recommend Subaru to anyone!!

The bluetooth doesn't work on the vehicle. The technology on this car was way outdated and doesn't even come with a backup camera. It has really ugly interior that looks like it was a 10 year old car. The suspension on the vehicle was extremely stiff and was really uncomfortable to ride in the back.

Great for family and pet owners
I was between a rock and a hard place after my Honda passed away-it drove itself to its demise due to the handbrake not on tight enough. So I had nothing to trade, no leverage. I know Subarus owned many Outbacks and they go forever. The problem is I'm 5' tall and this car is too big for me after the Honda and a Miata I have. I had 2 big dogs and felt the car would be great for a dog owner. Which it is. One dog rode on the back seat (covered) the other had the back to herself. Great for a dog owner. If you need a crate there's plenty of room. This would be a great vehicle for a children or pet family. I only have one 10 yr old dog left and this uses too much gas for me to consider a practical vehicle.

Subaru Forester, take a long test drive to decide
Mechanically reliable. Decent gas mileage. Headrests block line of vision. Sideview mirrors can be difficult to adjust. The most uncomfortable seats of any automobile I have ever owned. Lots of cabin noise both city and highway driving.

Most reliable car I’ve owned
This car has been very reliable comfortable and built well for safety purpose I would definitely own another one The only problem I’ve experienced is that it burns oil a few miles short of an oil change

Driver Side door panel inhibits left leg movement
I just couldn't go on long trips. Too much pain and cramps in my left leg from junk on the door panel which inhibited lateral movement. CVT transmission hung in low gears in cold weather resulting in poor gas mileage

Well worth the money.
A great investment. Purchased the car for my wife. Found it at a great price with plenty of accessories. Wife loves it. Not as much Umph as she’d like but it’s not a sports car.

To early to tell
I just purchased this car, I used to have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and I wasn’t totally sure if I wanted to switch brand but I’m glad I did. I like this new ride but it’s still too early to tell if I’ll like it long term

This car does everything I need. The turbocharged engine works well with the CVT and paddle shifters. X Mode for mud and snow. Room for us and large dog. Decent handling. Comfortable for long trips. 80,000 miles so far and I expect 200,000
