BMW Z3 or Z4? There is no question!

Z3 or Z4? That is the question.

Just purchased a Alpine white 3.osi with red leather interior. Carfax shows every service by BMW dealer. Drove a 2002 BMW Z3 for 14 years wondering if I'd really smile any bigger with a Z4. The answering is: YES!!! The ride is smoother and just ease your foot on the gas....this is quite a machine!!

Best and Most Reliable Sports Car I've Ever Owned

This car truly lives up to BMW's ads claiming it's a "Driving Machine". I just bought a 2nd BMW (X3), which is more practical, but I never plan on selling my older 2006 BMW Z4 3.0Si roadster. I absolutely LOVE this car due to its styling, performance, reliability, and how FUN it is to drive. I actually like the classic 2006 Z4 roadster far better than a lot of the newer Z4 models. It's definitely a collector's car at this point.

Love it.

The design, the undercarriage, the feel, the gearbox, the ease of convertible raising and lowering, are all superb. Gorgeous lines. My BWM mechanic tells me the engine is superb and will last many, many years with good care.

Fun to drive and get lot's of compliments

I bought used and only have it a month, but I love driving this car. Even with the base engine it has good power. Get lot's of compliments from everyone about the design. Dinged 1 star in performance because of the electric power steering.

This car is great for weekend driving. Fun and solid car to drive. Could use better cupholders. Runs smooth excellerates Quickly. For a car that’s 14 years old, it looks new.

Iconic and Timeless Design.

I purchased a 2006 BMW Z4 3.0i Roadster when it was 14 years old and had 57,200 miles. This car ROCKS! After 14 years, it still looks like a new car design. While the interior doesnt have all of the gizmos of a current vehicle, its really not needed (iphone cradle, anyone). As far as reliability, I have only had to buy tires and an oil change. The engine purrs on idle and screams when given the gas. The handling is supurb and can turn on a dime. I like this better than my two year old Audi A6.

Beautiful car with timeless design

Strong inline-6 with lots of torque and exhilarating to drive. Hard to find as there were not many of the coupes brought to the US. Approximately only 1,200 sold. These cars go for a premium over the Z4 convertibles due to their relative rarity.

It is a fun car, but ext. warranty recommended

Fun to drive, good gas mileage but too many repairs. Expensive run-flat tires (Bridgestone finally makes less expensive tires with a mileage warranty) I had several repairs that I wouldn't have expected from a BMW. Window actuator, starter, a/c, power top (3rd time failure)
