The Good
The 2021 Nissan Altima offers a compelling blend of advantages. Practically, it boasts good fuel efficiency, especially with the base engine, and a reputation for reliability. Emotionally, its sleek design and comfortable interior provide a pleasant driving experience. The availability of all-wheel drive enhances its appeal in colder climates, and its overall value proposition makes it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers. The ride comfort is also a major selling point.
The Bad
Potential weaknesses of the 2021 Nissan Altima include the CVT transmission, which some find less engaging than traditional automatics. The base engine can feel underpowered, especially when fully loaded. Interior materials, while generally adequate, may not be as upscale as some competitors. Some reviews note that the handling isn't as sporty as other sedans in its class. Watch out for potential CVT issues reported in previous model years.

How Does the 2021 Nissan Altima Compare to Other Passenger Sedan?
Alternatives to consider include the Toyota Camry for its reputation for reliability and strong resale value, the Honda Accord for its refined driving dynamics and spacious interior, and the Mazda 6 for its sporty handling and upscale interior. The Hyundai Sonata offers bold styling and a generous warranty. If reliability is a top priority, the Camry or Accord might be better choices. If sporty handling is desired, the Mazda 6 is a standout.

Good Car for Sure But Would Have Chosen a BMWThe 2021 Altima is a good but not great car. I have the SL trim which comes with more interior comfort and 1 of 2 extra features. I like the sporty style and tech features but the CVT transmission sucks sometimes. If I had to buy a sedan again I would choose a BMW 3 series instead cuz I like excellence in cars. But overall for anyone who would like to have something good and basic pros, yes the Altima can make it.

Style and ComfortI have only owned this car for 1 month but I am very pleased with my purchase, smooth, quiet, comfortable, great sound system. This car rides like a much higher priced car even with the 19Γ’β¬Β wheels. If you are looking for an everyday car with great ride and gas mileage this is the one for you.

Fantastic CarI absolutely love it. The AWD handles like it is on rails. Just a bit under powered 50 more HP would be fantastic. The car is very comfortable and quiet. It has enough bells and whistles to keep you entertained. Fuel economy seems excellent at this point in time. I have not done a deep dive though. I would also like a bit more range on the telescopic wheel.

Sporty comfortAltima is fun to drive, great handling and responsiveness. Gas mileage is very good, 30+mpg in town, 35 hiway. Love the way the car looks!

Nissan rocksMy last 3 vehicles have been Nissans. My two previous were identical Frontiers which I had zero problems with. This 2021 Altima is as good a value for the dollar that I could find. The staff is outstanding and the vehicle is even better.

First car Iβve ever owned that is smarter than me!5/28/21 I traded my limited edition 4wd gas chugging Ford explorer in for a gas saver. I chose the burnt orange color to match the orange stitching that was in all the SRs I saw. Itβs beautiful and glittery. The seats are so comfy. The steering wheel has paddle shifters like a race car. It accelerates so well and passing cars in a 1/8 mile passing zone is a breeze. The blind spot warning feature is so awesome. Backup camera is a beautiful image. If I hit the white line, the car asks me if I need a coffee break. If a car is stopping in front of me but I donβt slow down, It slows me down itself. No rear ending anybody in an Altima sr thatβs for sure. I went from putting $20-$25 a day in my tank to filling up one a week! Iβm excited and eager to see what else she can do !!

Bad paintThe car has a horrible paint job on it and the dealer is blaming on the manufacture. And refuses to do anything to help fix the car

This is my third Altima Car.It is a car with the power of a bigger car, but the economy of a small car. The look of the car is amazing.
