The Good
The 2022 Jeep Compass offers a blend of Jeep's iconic styling with a more refined interior. It appeals to emotional buyers with its rugged image and available off-road capability. Practical advantages include improved fuel efficiency compared to older models, comfortable seating, and user-friendly technology. However, performance is adequate rather than exhilarating.
The Bad
While the 2022 Compass is improved, some weaknesses persist. Its acceleration can feel sluggish, and the transmission isn't always the smoothest. Some owners have reported electronic glitches. Reliability, while improved, remains a concern compared to some competitors. The higher trims can get pricey, impacting the value proposition.

Transmission failedPurchased a jeep compass Trailhawk, 2022 brand new and after 15,000 miles the cars transmission failed. Waited about 45 days for them to fix the transmission and ended up having to file a lemon lawsuit. The car has many features on the inside that are great, but the car won't last.

It's not an F1 car, nor is it a $100KI have had my 22 High Altitude for about 4 months now and the only issue(s) I find are the following: MPG is not as advertised, it's not that great. It's around 24 average, I am about 50/50 city/highway driving - It's fine. It DOES ride like a Jeep - so it's not as "luxurious" as your higher end cars, but YOU BOUGHT A JEEP - The last snow storm we had in Cleveland was about 10" in 2 hours - No problem, even with 235/45/19 tires - Would be way better with not so wide tires. It's slow. Who cares? Are you driving in the F1? Nah - It's plenty. Interior is baller. Infotainment is great, comfortable. Heated steering wheel is a plus. IDK - I read these reviews and everyone is so picky - It's a nice ride. If you find you like it, give it a shot.

Eye Catcher (on the outside)I purchased the 2022 Jeep Compass Red edition in January 2022. It caught my eye immediately- love the exterior and have had several compliments! Also love the leather heated seats and steering wheel along with the remote start! Backup camera at night needs some looking into Mileage is not great 15-16 mpg in city vs dealership stating 21-23 mpg. Highway is not great either, so, if you're looking for a jeep with great gas mileage, don't purchase this one. Loud highway noise and Acceleration not good on highway and sounds like engine is laboring to change gears. Took back to dealership to have them check it over-not sure I'll keep this one!!

Poorly made vehicleMy compass is a 2017 and I've had to replace the battery 3 times now, I've never had this problem with any other car that I have ever owned. I paid entirely too much for a crappy car and I will probably NEVER buy another jeep, had similar issues with my Renegade. I'm spreading the word to all my health care professionals…although they have seen the issues I've had, which is sad because they all liked my jeep…until now!!

ComfortMy only complaint are the front seats do not have enough cushion and the seatbelt latch pushes into your hip on the drivers side. and standard lumbar support on all models added

Love my 2022 CompassI have had my 2022 Jeep Compass for 8 months now and no complaints. I can accelerate onto the fwy with no problems. I get the mileage they say. I do wish the storage was a tad bit larger and maybe more leg room in the back, but honestly I only travel with two dogs and rear air is good for them. Love the larger display screen and never a glare so I can't see it as in some other cars I tried. My backup camera works fine at night. I have the 4X4, so I need to get more info on that. I know the 2023 has a turbo, but I don't care about that.

Jeep junk, cheap riding and load road noiseWe rented this car and man this thing is cheap. Even though we had nice leather seats etc, everything about the ride was not very good. First the 4 cylinder was weak and not punchy, felt like the car was being pushed to the max just to go. The road noise is laughable, it sounded like I was in a wrangler with monster tires on it, the road noise is a joke. And lastly it rode rough, felt every bump as if the axle would break if we hit the wrong bump. I would never buy this car, jeep junk

NO COMPLAINTS ♥ï¸Â2022 Jeep Compass Limited ♥︠when I bought my Jeep I loved it at first sightâ—ï¸Âjust being very specific. Love the cooling/heating for seats upfront and also in the back. and the heating steering wheel. Love the outlets super great option for outdoors. Love having 4x4 I also love the options for different off road travels sand, mud, snow glad we don't get snow in Florida ♥︠my Compass is not sluggish at all. Trust me when I want it to get up and go it does. But I didn't buy my Jeep to tear it up either. Lots of room and storage. Plugs everywhere for everyone's phones. And mine I just put on the charger no need to plug it in. LOVE the back up camera. If you are having problems with that go to your dealership they will fix that for you right away. Full extended sunroof from front to back. I love finding all the little Easter eggs hidden on my Jeep. Love the remote options on my phone that can lock, unlock, start, horn, basically I can do everything on my phone. Love the SOS button incase of emergency. You can drive for 6hr and 37min before getting gas. Also other feature I love it will stop byself if iam coming up on something and iam not stopping. So many more features that I love â¤︠Money well spent. Eventually I will be getting a lift kit on it. And trailer hitch. I would most definitely recommend. Best vehicle I have ever owned. Honestly I have nothing bad to say. I LOVE MY 2022 JEEP COMPASS LIMITED. â—ï¸Â🤘

WHERE'S THE RECALL?2022 Jeep Compass Limited… All I can say is don't backup at night! The camera is horrendous and this car needs a recall for the camera! Backing up at night with a black screen can be extremely dangerous! Where's the RECALL!!!! Also…gas mileage should be better and the pick up speed is sluggish to say the least. The buttons underneath the screen are easy to hit by mistake. This car looks great inside and out but needs some major improvements. When are they going to have women design the interior of cars? Women want comfort, reliability and ease!!!!
