The Good
The 2015 Jeep Cherokee offers a blend of practicality and appeal. Its advantages include decent fuel economy (especially with the 4-cylinder engine), a comfortable ride, and available 4x4 capability for off-road adventures (emotional). It also provides a user-friendly infotainment system, a spacious interior for its class, and solid value in the used car market (practical).
The Bad
Potential weaknesses of the 2015 Jeep Cherokee include the sometimes-sluggish 9-speed automatic transmission, which has been known for rough shifting and reliability issues. Some owners have reported electrical problems and build quality concerns. The base 4-cylinder engine can feel underpowered when fully loaded. Research transmission issues before purchasing.

How Does the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Compare to Other Sport Utility Vehicle?
In terms of features, the Cherokee is competitive, but the RAV4 and CR-V often offer more advanced safety features. The Cherokee's pricing is generally in line with its rivals. Given reliability concerns, consider a Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V for better peace of mind. If off-road capability isn't a priority, these alternatives offer a more dependable and potentially longer-lasting ownership experience. If you value driving dynamics, the Mazda CX-5 is a strong contender. The Subaru Forester offers standard all-wheel drive and good safety ratings as well.

Purchased new in 2015.Purchased new in 2015. Have only done 1 repair in 129k, which was fixing oil leak at oil filter housing. Solid car, great in rain and snow. Thoroughly enjoy this car

Check recalls on 2015 Jeep Cherokee sport's transmI've only had my Jeep Cherokee sport for 2 weeks now and for the most part, everything is great. I am a little concerned with the transmission however. I've noticed that when I barely tap the gas and then hit the break, The vehicle will jump forward. I've been lucky so far where nobody has been in front of me for me to hit them. The second time it happened I came very close to rear ending another vehicle

Cherokee capableOverall very capable vehicle. 3.2L with 4wd/factory trailer tow. Silly things show up like the service 4wd light that comes/goes and radio/controller that resets after replacement. Solid car with a good pedigree.

A good 4WD for me!I bought my 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 4WD in January 2017 as a slightly water damaged vehicle with 18000 miles on it and have been pleasantly surprised at how reliable it's been! It's now at 66,000 miles and still working perfect in any kind of weather. Decent gas mileage, hauls anything I've put in it, gone from PA to Florida twice, Tennessee 3 times, and Myrtle Beach twice. I paid 10800 bucks for it in 2017 and I figure after 6 years of use and multiple trips ~ it's paid for itself already. The key is keeping proper maintenance!

Win winI purchased my Jeep Cherokee in 2015; still going strong. I am up to 133, 000 miles. It is a great car, not alot of issue and handles the road well. I will keep it a while longer.

I love it!!!I have owned this car since 2015. I bought it new and I love it. I never had an SUV until I bought this one. My husband owns a Wrangler and a Grand Cherokee. This vehicle handles well, it feels nimble and quick. The interior is nice. I finally had to fix a part which I guess is common on these. It was an overflow oil part, but I can't complain. I drive a lot for work through snow and bad weather in New England. I have driven in this to Vermont, Maine, NH, NY and Massachusetts. I live in RI. I now have around 105K and I think my next vehicle will be this same model. I really enjoy driving my Cherokee Trailhawk.

Don'tSluggish acceleration despite turbo charged engine. Mediocre reliability. Poor money value due to underwhelming performance in my opinion. Excellent exterior styling, however. Would absolutely not recommend this vehicle for any purpose.

Comfortable, reliable good gas mileage.I purchased this car new in 2015. I have enjoyed the quiet drive and the excellent radio. I have the Convenience package which has all the extra's that I like. The vehicle has been very reliable, fuel economy is OK in the city about 22, but on the highway with just me in the car I averaged over 30 MPG.

Great looking SUVThis is my second Jeep, my first was a 2008 2door Wrangler absolutely awesome. This 2015 Cherokee looks great inside and out. Great interior design, easy to navigate through your options while driving. The exterior design is as well done as the interior. Fuel economy is good, plenty of aftermarket accessories available. Love the modified Jeep grill, modern yet recognizable. I have been very happy with this Cherokee so far and don't see that changing any time soon.
