I drove my sentra about 70 miles a day 5 days a week for the 9 years I used the car and I must say I never had any issues. It was reliable, good on gas, and I was comfortable in my small car. The only thing I will say is I was not always comfortable driving it in the snow, so thankfully I had an alternate car for snow days.

Well i bought it last summa and like itz iight. It get me from point A to point B without taking da bus and sweatin in da hot weatha.It juss stinks in da rain, it be sliding like everywhere and I'm like danng. Bought this as a gas saver to complement my new truck which sucks gas. So far gas mileage is not as great as the sticker says, and I dont drive it hard. The syling and design are ok, but there are definitely better looking cars out there. My main issue has been a few interior trim pieces are coming loose, and had to take it in for the CVT tranny having problems. This will be the last car I own with one of those. It's also not the best driving car, and not good for long trips. I'll be looking into the Cruze once it comes out to replace this one.

Just avoid the snow

Very good extremely reliable just hit 85,000 MI only thing change is few breaks couple of batteries and the tire pressure gauge monitor whent out at 59k miles other than that no problems this don't try driving on the snow or it'll be a death trap..

I love my Nissan Sentra. Have not had any problems. I take good care of my car. It drives really nice. Keep up on your oil changes. And your tires etc. Mines runs really good.I live in Oregon. Very Reliable!

Great driving condition. Met all of my needs. Very smooth shifting, and a powerful engine. All features including heat, a/c, sunroof, and more work excellent.

Never purchase CVT cars

I Have always purchased Nissan Autos. Very upset that two weeks after I bought this car used with 38,000 miles, it sounded as if a siren was under the hood. Very surprised that Nissan did not recall the CVT transmissions in these cars! Heed my warning NEVER buy a car with a CVT this stands for continuous variable transmission.

Great car for your buck

I've had my Sentra S for about five years now, and with maintenance it's still kicking at 150k miles. I won't lie, I've done things with it that should have been done with a truck - taken it to the desert numerous times, piled it with supplies for long camping trips, road trips, I tow a light trailer with it... the whole nine yards. It has never left me stranded. The stock sound system is decent, the shocks have held up surprisingly well, the interior is roomy and comfortable, and the trunk is rather large. I'm always shocked by how much I can fit safely in this vehicle. It also has pretty decent gas mileage; I average about 25mpg overall. My gripes? -It's not top-of-the-line in styling (though I put aftermarket halo headlights in that really spruce it up, as well as more stylish wheel covers), and the interior radio interface is falling apart. Buttons falling off, etc. The whole interior is dated - no touch screen, no bluetooth, no USB separate from the cigarette charger, nothing fancy. Don't expect any frills with this car. But what do you expect, it's from 2008. -The tire pressure indicator breaks every time I replace it. I've stopped replacing it and just check pressure myself. -This was the biggest one... the stock transmission did NOT have a cooling system! Idk if this was a fluke or what, but my car used to overheat like crazy on mountainous roads. I had to pay a pretty chunk of money to get a new cooling transmission put in. But, since then, no problems. Overall, it's a great commuter vehicle with unexpected resiliency for weekend adventures. And for $8k at 35,000 miles when I started, I would say it's well worth the money.

Love my car. But just found out it needs a shifting cynoide to the tune of 800.00 dollars. So beware people. Are there any recalls on this ?

Lovely

I'm in love with this car. It handles beautifully and looks beautiful on both the exterior and interior, even being used and having over 160k miles. I'm so satisfied with this car that i would even recommend it over nissan's newer models. I'm not getting another car after this, i will continue to repair it until i perish.
