How Does the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Compare to Other Sport Utility Vehicle?
Performance: The Grand Cherokee offers a broader range of engine options than some rivals, including a plug-in hybrid. The 4Runner is known for its off-road prowess, while the Explorer offers a sporty ST variant.
Features: The Grand Cherokee boasts a luxurious interior and advanced technology, often surpassing the 4Runner in terms of refinement. The Telluride offers similar features at a more competitive price point. The Honda Passport provides a comfortable and spacious interior.
Reliability: The Toyota 4Runner is renowned for its reliability, often outperforming the Grand Cherokee in long-term dependability. The Kia Telluride has also gained a reputation for reliability.

Alternatives: If reliability is a top priority, the Toyota 4Runner is a solid alternative. If value for money and family-friendly features are key, the Kia Telluride is a strong contender. The Ford Explorer offers a sporty driving experience. The Honda Passport is a good all-around option. Ultimately, the best choice depends on individual priorities and needs.

I have had nothing but trouble with this car.I have had nothing but trouble with this car. The two batteries died. The computer screen keeps dying on me. This is my third jeep and I loved my first two. The 2023 is terrible.

Natural upgrade choiceRuns smooth. Very comfortable. Always loved the Jeep brand so this was a natural upgrade. Love the options too. The adaptive cruise control is amazing.

Newer is not betterThis is my second Grand Cherokee. I loved my 2019 so I thought it could only get better. I was wrong. The center control console has been problematic since I got the car. It's been replaced and it still shuts off when it feels like it. The dealer was not helpful and Stelantis was even less helpful. The car was 30 days old and I had a blank screen for weeks at a time. There were also 2 other recalls. The dealer acted like they were doing me a favor fixing it. This car will be traded in the next 3 months......I can't wait.

Just OKI bought a brand new 2023 GC Limited. After having it for two days I got in it to go to work. It had condensation all over the inside of the windshield and the front door windows. Found out that the front passenger carpet was soaking wet under the floor mat. Apparently has a leak somewhere. The main display turns off and on by itself. The front door windows don't get cleaned off on the outside when rolled down. You would think the dealer where I bought it would make it a priority to get the vehicle in and looked at being that it is new. Nope.

Great overallbought a new 2022 GC Summit. I wanted the hemi, only found it in Summit pkg at the time. Overall love the vehicle interior is as nice as anything out there. Real wood, lots of leather and nice materials overall on interior. Kicking stereo. Had a 2016 Overland with hemi. Wanted one more new hemi before quit making them. Easy 20-22 mpg at 70 mph. Plenty of power, very quiet and smooth. Biggest complaint all the plastic trim on the outside. First time i shut the door sounded like a rattle or something, not as solid as the 2016, when i shut the door it sounded solid. Nothing i could find wrong just pieces seeming to make a noise. Overall love it. Looks great, rides great, descent mileage, and very nice interior. Did i mention messaging seats are real sweet. Also plenty of towing power which i needed. Excellent in the snow as well.

‘23 Grand Cherokee SummitNew Jeep GC owner…about a month in. Bought a ‘23 Grand Cherokee Summit after admiring the looks of it. Was nervous to purchase because I usually drive foreign. I also own a ‘22 Audi and have to say that the quality of my Jeep is comparable. I am pleasantly surprised by the drive as well as the quality of the finishes. The ride is quiet and smooth. The 6 cylinder has plenty of pep and has no trouble getting down the highway. It even has a bit of a growl when you step down on it. I legit smile every time I drive my Jeep.

23 Grand Cherokee 25k miles! Rav= Bad CRV=WorseBesides the hefty amount of recalls in the first year, overall has been the best Jeep I've owned. Super comfortable, very reliable in weather conditions. Can sit in it for 6+ hours a day without my back hurting (I have a rod in my back). Traded a hellcat for more comfort. It was worth it. Probably best adult decision I've made. Does pretty well on gas. (3.6L) I get about 584 range, sometimes 598 depending on how traffic is. However the interior could have been constructed of better materials. (Steering wheel stitching came lose but covered under warranty). Had it since end of March 23 with 25k miles already. No huge issues, never had to worry about screen issues (like what I've heard about 21-22 models). I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who is looking for an upgrade from previous body style GC, bigger suv with legroom, and enjoyable drive. I test drove a RAV4, CR-V. Ended up buying a 23 Jeep. Most vehicles in the market don't have the technology the Jeep has. Toyota is a few years behind (& the road noise is unbearable), CR-V doesn't have enough pep in its step ( Also the interior gives off impoverished/ barely any enjoyable features and buttons. Jeep is perfect. I love how a lot of options are in the screen but also below the screen. Not too cluttered.

don't buy a Grand CherokeeThe tires are too cheap engine covers from the bottom are so bad and always clips fall and the the holes in the fabric ripped I just drove it 40,000 miles not as reliable as the 2016 the hood doesn't fit too well in this spot on the highways

Rental reviewI travel alot and rent a lot of cars so i review for possible purchasers. I give the grand cherokee a 8 out of 10. Truck feels very confident and rides well. Id consider purchasing one if it wasnt for one thing…. This car is WAY to heavy for a natrually aspirated V6! The 3.6 is very sluggish and cannot get out of its own way. They need to put a twin turbo in it. Otherwise i would have rated it a 10. Other than slow get up and go… its a winner.
