What Problems Does the 2016 Honda Accord Have?
Recalls for the 2016 Accord have included issues with the fuel pump, which could potentially fail and cause the engine to stall. Airbag inflator recalls, related to the Takata airbag issue, may also affect this model year. Long-term reliability concerns primarily revolve around the CVT's longevity, especially with aggressive driving habits or infrequent maintenance. Routine maintenance, including timely oil changes and CVT fluid replacements (if applicable), is crucial to mitigate these potential issues. Thorough inspection of the transmission and engine is recommended before purchasing a used 2016 Accord.

Low Profile Tires... 2 flats in 2 monthsMy only challenge has been the low profile tires.... they don't do well with Indiana roads. The mpg went all the way up to 38.

would buy another in a heartbeatthis car was exactly what i was hoping for when i bought it. Unfortunately, i bought property in Maine and need a 4WD vehicle in the winter. I had to consolidate from a car and an older pickup to just a newer pickup.

Honda put in bad transmission, starter, battery...I got a brand new Accord EX-L (with full options) in 2016. I changed the battery after 2 years, am now changing transmission -- out of nowhere one day the "malfunction indicator lamp" came on, and I couldn't even drive to the body shop so had it towed there. They found some metal shaving, which they told me only happen when the car gets old and falls apart. They are also replacing engine mounts, and then just told me that the car might not start and I need a new starter. They told me that the starter in this model and some others is bad, and they are replacing it frequently. But Honda isn't going to do anything about it. So unless you buy extra warranty, don't buy Honda -- It's not a reliable car that you can drive for over 10 years hassle free...
