The Good
The 2011 Porsche Cayenne offers impressive performance with its various engine options, appealing to driving enthusiasts. Its luxurious interior provides a comfortable ride for all occupants, attracting those seeking refinement. While not the most fuel-efficient, the Cayenne Diesel offers improved economy. Its design blends Porsche styling cues with SUV functionality, pleasing both aesthetic and practical sensibilities.
The Bad

What Problems Does the 2011 Porsche Cayenne Have?
Recalls for the 2011 Cayenne have addressed issues such as fuel leaks and problems with the seat belt buckle. Long-term reliability concerns often revolve around the higher maintenance costs associated with a luxury vehicle, especially as components age. Oil leaks from various seals and gaskets can become more prevalent over time. The direct injection engine in the V8 models is susceptible to carbon buildup on the intake valves, potentially affecting performance. Potential buyers should carefully inspect the vehicle's service history and consider a pre-purchase inspection by a qualified Porsche mechanic to identify any existing or potential problems.

How Does the 2011 Porsche Cayenne Compare to Other Wagon?
In terms of price, the Cayenne can be more expensive to maintain and repair than some of its competitors.
Alternatives to consider include:
* **BMW X5:** Offers a similar blend of performance and luxury, potentially better handling.
* **Mercedes-Benz ML-Class:** Prioritizes comfort and luxury over outright performance.
* **Audi Q7:** Provides a spacious interior and advanced technology.
* **Lexus RX:** More reliable and less expensive to maintain, but less sporty.
Whether a better alternative exists depends on individual priorities. If performance is paramount, the Cayenne stands out. If reliability and lower running costs are key, the Lexus RX is a stronger choice.

Bomb!Hottest Cayenne Turbo in area (country?). Lots of custom running improves and cosmetic upgrades. All service done and records available. Quiet powerful luxury. 500+ hp and neck snapping torque. Special vehicle takes special owner. Get out of the pack and move to the front. Not interested in low baller or negotiating. In other words price is firm! Best vehicle I have ownBesides it being a well made vehicle, it has 2 visors, one for the side and another for the front. Who does that but quality engineering. The vehicle has shuttle night lights so it seems dark inside but itβs actually seeable. Itβs a Porsche... check it out...

Not strong as much as I thoughtIt?s been a while since I?ve owned this car. I still love how the engine sounds in addition to the car's performance in sport mode; for a V6 suv. The interior design is not bad at all. Especially, the central console, paddle shifters, and the headrest. Mine got 911 wheels which gives the car a sportier look. I?ve driven this car from Canada to South Florida, From South to east coast, from Miami to Louisville Kentucky and I?ve never had a problem that may have happened if I was driving an Audi or a VW(DSG transmission may heat up). It was a very reliable car since 2017 when it started to be costly. The car needed parts from here and there from time to time and the computer starting to freak out lately ( June 2018); it shows that oil level is above average while is not, the fog lights are not working while it works, flat tire while is all good. To conclude, I would say it is a great car for the first 5-6 years (depending on the usage), but after that you might be spending up to 20.000 $ in repairs within 2 years (especially if you?re living up north).
