The Good
The 2019 Subaru Legacy offers a blend of practicality and peace of mind. Its standard all-wheel drive provides superior traction in various weather conditions, appealing to practical buyers seeking safety and reliability. The comfortable ride and spacious interior offer a pleasant driving experience. While not a performance car, its reliability and value make it an appealing choice for budget-conscious buyers.
The Bad
The 2019 Subaru Legacy, while reliable, has some potential weaknesses. The base engine can feel underpowered, especially when fully loaded. Some owners have reported issues with the infotainment system, including slow response times and glitches. The CVT transmission, while efficient, may not appeal to drivers seeking a more engaging driving experience. Oil consumption should be monitored.

What Problems Does the 2019 Subaru Legacy Have?
Recalls for the 2019 Legacy were related to potential fuel pump failures, which could cause the engine to stall. Check with the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) website to verify if the specific vehicle has had the recall service performed. Long-term reliability is generally positive, with the engine and transmission proving durable with proper maintenance. However, like any vehicle, regular servicing, including fluid changes and inspections, is crucial to prevent potential issues down the line. Premature wear of brake components has also been mentioned, possibly due to the vehicle's all-wheel drive system and driving style. Therefore, maintaining the braking system is key.

How Does the 2019 Subaru Legacy Compare to Other Sedan?
Feature-wise, the Legacy is competitive, offering a good range of tech and safety features. Reliability is a strong point for the Legacy, generally on par with the Camry and Accord. Price-wise, the Legacy is typically in the same ballpark as its rivals.
Alternatives: The Toyota Camry offers a more refined driving experience and excellent reliability. The Honda Accord provides a sportier driving experience and a spacious interior. The Mazda 6 boasts stylish design and a premium feel. If AWD isn't a priority, these alternatives may be better choices. However, if AWD is a must-have, the Legacy stands out as a compelling option.

Disappointed and frustrated ðŸ˜ÂI've been reading so much positive reviews on the subaru legacy, so why am I having so much problems with my 2019 subaru legacy? I bought it in 2019 so it's only 3 years old and already had to changed the battery 6 months ago, now the battery died again twice in 3 days and there's corrosion around the battery connection. This is very disturbing and disappointing as I bought this car for my daughter who is in college based on its reliability and safety standpoint now she's having so much problems with it. I am so frustrated and disappointed in Subaru

Very pleased.I drive eighty miles round trip to work. My Legacy is quiet, comfortable and the Eye Sight is great! I’m safe and secure knowing my Subaru has my back. I’d like better mpg but at 32 on average I guess I shouldn’t complain. Love my Subie!

My daughter loves her new carMy daughters 2011 Subaru Legacy had 168,000 on it and it wasn't cost effective to repair it. She was broad sided by a high speed driver and survived in a 2010 legacy. She only wants LEGACY'S because it saved her life. We

Nicest car I have ever owned.Has plenty of power, love the all wheel drive, not only for winter, but year around. Really like the color, and the wheels, as well as the ride, and interior leg room, and amenities.

Great ride with all the features I wanted.Well built car with all the safety and convenience features I wanted, smooth ride and good handling. The eyesight system works great, especially lane assist and emergency braking.

Love, love, love this car!I'm a longtime Subie owner. Last year I had one of these as a loaner while my 2010 Forester was in the shop and decided to buy a top of the line '19 Legacy as soon as it was off-lease or -loan. It is SWEET! Rides like a dream, love all the safety features (EYESIGHT, etc) and it's a good size now that I'm an empty-nester.
