Fab fun forever!

I bought this car new, and love it more now than the day I drove it off the lot. High Mark's for me on comfort because though it's not 'roomy' it is comfortable. From Michigan we've been to the East Coast, West Coast, down into Tennessee and around Lake Superior (twice) and never had any comfort issues. The only performance issue is that I wish it had a "seventh" gear, an overdrive of sorts, or that sixth had longer legs. 70 mph mean your pushing 3500 rpm which gets old...I can downshift if I need the turbo to kick in! All in all it's a fabulous car: reliable, comfortable, and a thrill to drive anywhere from a backroad twisty to a simple trip up to the grocery! That said, she's not my only MX-5.

Most fun I have had in a long time.

Met my expecting. I had a fiat roadster back in 68. Have wanted another for many years. This is my blue ridge mountain fun ride. I am a 72 year old widow. Girls still like to ha e fun.

Bought this car because of stunning condition.

This is a beautiful well cared for 04 Miata. Fun to drive, a real head turner and constant conversation piece. Unfortunately (for me) this is a young persons car which I no longer am!

Best Bang for the Buck!

2nd generation Miatas are so beautifully designed and balanced. They drive like they're on rails. So much fun! Everything's easy to use. Reliable. Inexpensive to own. A short-throw shifter rips through the gears and makes you smile every time. Keep in mind that, if you're older, it's not the most comfortable ride, especially on crappy roads. But as a weekend or fun car, it can't be beat. The power-to-weight ratio is perfect without having to exceed the speed limit. So the question is, even if you can afford far more, why spend the money when such a great car exists?

So much fun to drive.

The handling of this car, for a car that is reliable enough and has good gas mileage is unbeatable. It takes corners at speed with a stability that comes with great design. I enjoy myself whenever I take this car for a ride.

Amazing first car its so much fun

The miata is just a perfect first car; it's cheap, reliable and loves to be revved. It has little power but driving it you can't tell unless ur just gunning it in a straight line against something thats not 20 years old. Putting the top down on a sunny day is so amazing and quick. Its a fun manual car that u wont really need to put money into to maintain. Although, its so fun as is that u almost want to put some money into it and make it even more perfect. Buy this car in manual with a soft top i doubt ull find something more fun.

Legal & Moral Great Fun

My Miata is one of two sports' cars that I own (the other being a Corvette) and I love it just as much as its big brother. I can toss this car on the back country twisties in a way that the Corvette just can't match. When I want to go "canyon carving", the Miata is my car of choice. Sure it could use some more ponies, but on a road course, autocross course of twisty mountain roads, there aren't many cars that can hang with a Miata. My Miata is my lithe little "scat back" and my Corvette is my big bull "fullback".
